Our authority manifests itself when we come to the full realization that we are children of God seated in heavenly places and given authority over all the power of the enemy. God placed us in this position. When we come to the full realization of whom we are, our whole countenance changes. We change from having a defeatist attitude to becoming the victor. We know now no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We walk with boldness because we know our Father made us for peace, health and plenty. We change from the inside out and it shows. Armed with this upgrade in status, our prayer life takes on new meaning. We become a power house. We are bold, confident, fearless and relentless in learning God’s plan for our lives and carrying out the assignment. Once God’s will become our will, we begin to experience answered prayer. Every day and in every way we grow more and more prosperous, successful and victorious. Answers don’t take as long as they use to. We think, speak and act victorious. Our prayer life becomes exemplary because of our relationship with the Father, knowing who we are, our position of authority and because prosperous demonstrations are now existent in our lives.

Agreed Donna, without knowing who we are we can not walk in our authority. I am ever so thankful for being taught as I have been and as I’m still being taught so that I can go from glory to glory…higher and higher.

When trials come I quickly resort to prayer armed with my authority and the Word of God. I’m equipping my son with the knowledge I gain so that he too can remember who he is in Christ and how to deal with his own trials as well as to encourage others.

The best thing that knowing my authority did was change my continence.  I no longer have to have the look of defeat.  I am victorious because I have been given the authority!   The main thing I had to understand was that I am a child of God!  I am the daughter of The Most High God!  The most high will hear me in my day of trouble because I am His!  That in its self is mind-blowing!

When I pray, I now pray according to His divine will.   I pray according to the word of God, so I have confidence that he will fulfill all my council.  That means that he will honor and fulfill His word in my life.    He will hear from heaven and answer my requests.   There is nothing to stop my inward desires now because my will is in alignment with His will.   This gives me a boldness like never before.  I can now be pro-active in my prayer life.  I can attack things head on.  I can go to the source of the problem and take it by force.  I can use my authority and go to war.   I know that I have the victory because I am seated with Jesus in heavenly places.  I am seated at the right hand of God the Father.  I have been endowed with power from on high.  I have God with me, so who can me against me!    Because I now know that the Spirit of God had unhindered freedom in my life; I can ask whatsoever I will and I KNOW it shall be done.

Roxanne I agree with you, that no longer you have to live a life of defeat, but one of victory because you are a victor and not a victim in Christ Jesus. As a child of God you are a partaker of the blessings that are already available to you, so you can now go before the throne in confidence expecting to receive from your heavenly father whatever you ask of him. Glory to God!!

That’s right Roxanne, no longer will we act timid for in Mathew 11:12 the word of God states, From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has forcefully advanced, and the strong take it by force (MEV). Be bold, use your authority and take back what Satan stole from you and don’t forget he owes you interest!

      <span style=”font-size: 100%;”>MY PRAYER AND CONFESSION:</span>

Father I thank you for this day that you have made. I declare and decree that I will rejoice and be glad in it. I take authority over my day today, I deprogram from my day every evil thing that the devil has programmed into it. I deprogram from my day the arrow that flies by day; the destruction that wastes at noon day; the pestilences that walk in darkness; and the terror by night. All these I deprogram from my day today in the name of Jesus Christ the son of the Living God and by his precious blood.

Father I now program into my day, every good thing that you have spoken concerning me. I program into my day today favor, peace, productivity, prosperity, health, wholeness, and victory. I declare and decree goodness and mercy shall follow me today. I speak to my day and say, day come to divine order in the name of Jesus, day come to the order of the blood of Jesus, day come to the divine order of the spoken word of God concerning me, and day come to the order of the anointing in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth the son of the living God. Amen!! I also add my children, families, loved ones, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.

Knowing my authority affected my prayer life, because as a child of God, I can come into God’s presence free from the feelings of guilt, condemnation, inferiority, or unworthiness, because I was made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus..(Isa.43:25) I have rights and privileges that give me legal standing with God, I’m a new creation of God in Christ Jesus,(2Corinth.5:17) I have covenant rights in prayer; he abides in me, and his words abide in me I can ask what I will and it shall be given unto me, I can knock and it shall be opened unto me, and when I seek I shall find. I can also put God in remembrance of his word, and remind him of what he said concerning prayer; and he said he would watch over his word to perform it.

I am made in the image and the likeness of God himself. I have the authority to operate like him, as he is so am I. The same power that God used to raise Jesus from the dead is the same power that’s on the inside of me. Jesus spoke to situations and circumstances they had to obey him, I can speak to the mountains in my life they have to obey me the same way, mountain of debt, mountain of sickness, and mountain of lack I have the authority over them, therefore I can tell them to be thou removed and be cast into the sea and not doubt, believing what I say, I can have what I say.(Mark11:23) That’s the privilege I have in prayer.

With my authority in prayer, I can change the course of my life, my children’s life by speaking the word saying what the word say we are: healed, whole, blessed, nothing missing nothing broken or lacking. The word has to come in line with what I say, and it has to come to pass; God and his word are one, they cannot fail nor can they lie. I don’t have to live a defeated life but one of victory and abundance. My authority gives me the ability to call things in my life that are not as though they were until they are; I can also declare a thing and it shall be establish unto me,

Yes Donna we have to come to the realization of who we are and whose we are and what our position and authority is in Christ. We are to walk in the blessings that God has already ordained for us, that the world will see him in us and would want to hunger and thirst after righteousness.

Knowing my authority affected my prayer by changing my attitude and expectations towards prayer. I can now approach His throne boldly and with confidence that my prayets will be heard and answrred according to His riches and glory. I need not faint in well doing. God has given me the authority to pray for others and myself knowing that He hears me and will answer my prayers. I no longer have a defeated attitude or mindset. God wants and needs me to pray. He isn’t going to force his will on me. I must spend time with him and pray to him. Knowing my authority also reminds me that I am a child of the most high God….the one and true living God that wants me communing with Him. The more time I spend with Him in prayer the closer our bond the closer our relationship the greater my prayer life increases. My authority authorizes me to go before him at anytime and as many times as is desired or necessary. My authority gives me direct access. I know WHO I am and WHOSE I am.

By knowing my authority in Christ it allow me to enter into the throne room of God with boldness, knowing that I can pray confidently and receive all my prayer requests.   From the time Jesus accented to the Father he transferred all power to me in heaven and on earth. Knowing that I have all authority I can come against sickness, financial problem, and every weapon that might arise against me in the name of Jesus. In like manner, I can pray in the Holy Ghost the unknown, knowing that when I pray in the Holy Ghost I am praying the prefect will of God, removing any limitation from my prayer.   All in all, the main thing that affects my prayer life is knowing the authority that was bestowed upon me.

Knowing my authority affects my prayer life by giving me boldness and confidence when I pray and commune with God. I no longer pray with any lingering doubts because I know that I am praying according to His will.  When I pray according to His will, I know that He hears me and that my prayers will be answered.  His Word cannot return void. He gave me authority over sickness, disease, lack, sin and in every area of my life because He knows that I am capable of exercising it and He wants me to use it.

With that authority, I can go into my prayer closet ready to claim what is my rightful inheritance through prayer.  I can plead with God and put Him in remembrance of His Word. I can speak to the mountains in my life and the lives of my family, friends, Church, community and country.  My countenance is changed and my attitude is no longer “woe is me” because He has already given me the victory.

Yes Stacey!!! That new found boldness is something I think we all can relate to. Without knowing our authority I doubt any of us were approaching the throne boldly. Some of us were probably also doubting that God was hearing our prayers. Thankfully, we now know who we are and the authority that has been given to us which now has given us a new and bold spirit.

Knowing my authority affects helps my prayer life. In prayer I take my authority and command God’ words to come to pass. As a believer I have great confidence in prayer when I speak the word. In prayer I exercise my authority and remind God (and myself) of his words and promises as in Isaiah 43:26.

      • #5952

Amen Rhonda! That is it….. Knowing My authority helps my prayer Life. In great Faith and confidence I Believe God’s WORD. I say what God tells me to say. When I Pray!
